Andree Martinez

Andree is a Mexican-born American who was raised in El Paso. She comes from a family which has a lot of entertainment genes. Since a young age Karla (Host for the Univision show Despierta America!) and other family members were always around her. In her early years she was surrounded by TV personalities like her younger sister, Karla (Host of Univision's Despierta America! Andrew Martinez is vice president of Safety Security and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison (SCE) which is one of the biggest electric utilities in the country. SCE puts a lot of emphasis on safety of its employees as well as business security and resilience. Martinez offers safety professionals the mentorship and programs needed to reach their group's security goals. Before taking on his current position Martinez was the director of Safety Training and Compliance for Transmission & Distribution at SCE. Before that, he was the director of Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services. During Martinez's 30 years with SCE, he was in a variety of leadership positions, including at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station.
