Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue An. Ellis Taylor is an American producer and actress. She received an undergraduate degree in African-American Studies at Brown University as well as a Masters in acting at the Tisch School for the Art New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actor and producer who is involved in the world of film and on television. Her stage debut was in the year 2000 and then appeared in mainstream, independent and TV series. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw, a character in ABC's Quantico. The BET's massive series The Book of Negroes she was a character. Not only did she get praise from critics for her character, she also received a few awards and nominations. In 1995 she debuted as Ariel on stage as Ariel in The Tempest. On Broadway she's appeared in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Her film work is highlighted by her appearances in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. In the world of television, her role on ABC's drama series about police High Incident has earned her the praise of her fellow actors.
